Celebrate Caribbean-American Heritage Month With Us
This year we are celebrating Caribbean-American Heritage Month with an intimate single session reading group and cocktails! The Caribbean story is a sensory experience and this session prioritizes sound with book-listening and discussion of the voices and narratives that move through the Caribbean and its diaspora.
Our featured story, "The Fastest Man in the World" written by Maisy Card is taken from the Lovers Rock audiobook collection, produced by Calabash Literary Festival and published by Audible.
Led by the award-winning Andie Davis, come prepared to chat, vibe and sip on a beverage from the CFF Café & Bar, included in your registration.
Bring your ears, your heart, and your curiosity.
What to expect from the reading group: Participants can expect a conversational, prompt-driven open discussion.
What to read in advance: A copy of the audiobook version of “The Fastest Man in the World” by Maisy Card will be provided after registration.
Our warmest thanks to Audible for their support in providing complimentary copies of the Lovers Rock story collection.
This group is presented in partnership with and will be held in person at The Center for Fiction. Registration includes a complimentary drink from the CFF Café & Bar.
See you there!
